NEW Password Guidelines for School Accounts

A reminder to all staff and secondary students that the WRDSB IT Department has made changes to the requirements for our PAL/school account passwords.  These changes apply to all staff and secondary students.

The NEXT TIME you change a password, it must:

  • be 12 characters or longer,
  • include capitals, lowercase letters and special characters/numbers,
  • not include user’s name.

Passwords will NO LONGER EXPIRE every three months. (More complex passwords = no need to change often).
