GRADUATING OR LEAVING THE WRDSB AT THE END OF THIS SCHOOL YEAR?  YOUR GOOGLE ACCOUNTS WILL CLOSE AND CHROMEBOOKS WILL “BRICK” THIS SUMMER!

Students graduating this year or leaving the WRDSB will have their Google Drive and email accounts closed over the summer. It is recommended that you back up all your documents and emails to your personal drive/accounts before the end of the school year, or you risk losing important files/emails.

If you aren’t returning to the WRDSB in the fall, you must also return your Chromebook at the end of the school year as these devices will be deactivated during the summer and will no longer connect/function.

Apps such as Google Takeout can make the backup process easier. Check out this tutorial for help on how to use this app!
