Grade 8 Info Night at LHSS – Wednesday, December 13th

Laurel Heights Secondary Schools is excited to welcome our potential future Hurricanes and their families to our Grade 8 Info Night! You’ll have a chance to tour the school to check out the amazing elective areas available in grade 9 while also learning about what to expect in your first year of high school! We will host 2 general school info sessions in our cafeteria (6:00 and 7:00pm) – same content in each session, so please plan to attend either one! For families considering our Fast Forward magnet program – please attend the special info session at 5:30pm in the LHSS library!

OSSLT (Literacy Test) Preparation & Test Dates – Fall 2023

Students in grade 11 and grade 12 who still need to write the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT) have been invited to write the test this November. We are holding 2 preparation sessions in the school library during blocks A and B. Please have your student bring their charged Chromebooks to the sessions – a reminder that students must use a school device for the OSSLT.

Preparation Sessions: November 14 and 21
Test Days: November 15 and 22
Location: School Library
Time: 8:20 to 11:00 am
